I have a picture attached to this of my poor plant dieing.

I am currently using shitty planting soil from Dollar General, with a regular water fed schedule, and about 175w Flourescent EcoBulb lighting. I completely stopped giving it Miracle Gro and stripped the planting setup of aluminum foil, I then went out today and bought a large bag of Black Gold Organic Potting Soil and I will be moving my poor plant to this soil. I also bought a cheap 5$ PH testing kit, comes with the bottle of solution and a little tiny vile for the water.

Now that I actually have GOOD potting soil and a way of testing the PH of the water, would somebody mind looking at the picture low quality or not and explain anything that could possibly be wrong with it and what precedures ill have to immediatly take after moving my plant to a new soil medium and how I should be taking care of this plant on a weekly basis from here on.

I appreciate anybody who took there time to read this and respond.
Its sad to see my plant starting to die and I wan't to fix this and make things right..

(( EDIT: Ive also read when watering your plants, try not to get water on the leaves... Is this true? ))

BTW, I did a test to see what the PH level of the water I give my plants was and it shows a brighter orange color: 4 now from what i've read, this isn't what you want. So what could I do to the water to raise this PH level without any store bought chemicals to do it for me?

from the pic it looks like maybe phosphorous defiiciency
but i would wait till someone agrees with me im a new grower too i just looked it up in my book and thats what it appears to be but take my advice with a grain of salt

water on the leaves is bad because it will cause your lights to burn the plant like a magnifying glass thats what i was just told. 150 watts i dont think is enough from what im hearing on here but i could be wrong

people say not to put water on the leaves because the lights will get magnified and can put hot spots on your plants

true, this can happen, so when you spray your plants make sure it sprays out a very fine mist.

Well, I JUST read that letting the water sit on your leaves is bad, and when I think about it. Water just sits on those leaves everytime I go to water it.
As for what you said its lacking, I honestly and full heartely wouldnt disagree with you. I feel my plants lacking ALOT of what it needs and it depresses me that I cant afford all the nice shit to keep it healthy and strong... I hear people all the time who don't have internet or references say, man I just go outside and plant the seed and I got some good bud. Sure if you wana go down that route, Im looking to take care of my plant like your own damn kid, not your pitbull chained up out in the backyard with just a bowl of water and food, just enough to keep your fuckin dog alive. That dogs probably fuckin mean and not as healthy as it should be... Just a metaphore I suppose.
