basicly i have 6 plant at the moment. once i harvest them, is there a certain way i can make a small amount of hash? ive searched some posts but they involve materials and tools i dont have and are done on a larger scale with 4 buckets full etc.

is the general technique to chuck the cuttings into water, let it set, drain that layer of water, leave it to set, drain that lay of water, etc etc ??

No that won't work.

THC is not water soluble so will not fall of the trim if you just put it in water.

TCH solidifies at temps less than 4%c so if you use a mix of ice and really cold water you can get the trichomes to fall off the leaves, however you'd need bubble bags or some kind of filter to remove it from the water (without a shitload of hassle that is).

I'd suggest using Butane extraction if you don't have the cash to outlay for bags (mine were about £30) but I've never used that method.

Or if you can find a fine wire mesh to rub the trim over and knock the trichs off through it that would work for small ammounts, would take a while though I imagine.

An effective way of doing it without screens/bags etc is to do the following.
1.Place trim/bud whatever in as small amount of water and ice you can get away with and agitate(mix) for about 10 mins.
2.Tip through a sieve and place liquid into a large cooking pan and boil down to about 1000ml or so (not important to be accurate just as small an amount as you can be arsed to wait for)
3.pour reduced liquid through coffee filters and scrape all trichs away and place on cardboard till dry.
4.press into hash using which ever method you like.

works great and costs bugger all.

Only downside is it takes a while to reduce the liquid.

nope, dont have 1. i have 2 normal grinders. plastic one which is brilliant and a metal one for the tough weed u sometimes get.

i dont wanna buy any bubblebags, it can be done without them. guess ill just look into it. i only wanted abit of hash just to say that ive made it. as an achievement if u know what i mean.

I imagine boiling that water would seriously affect the potency of any hash that was procuded that way.

TBH it is. The basic principles are to get the trichs off the plant matter, then collect them! Dont just leave your trim etc in the water give it a very good mix for 10 mins with a broom handle. You can repeat the process while the first lot of liquid is boiling down, you wont get half as much but definately get some more. I usually get about 1or 2g's for every oz of leaf using this method.
