first grow, in 45g rubbermaids, need tips

Hey, me and a friend just started growing some bag seeds. we first had 5 germinated seeds planted in solo cups with cactus soil, has a little bit of sand to help hold water, has some sponge or pearlite stuff in it, and has a good amount of NPK and the right pH with 2 24" flouros over them in a space slightly bigger than 2'x2' (picture 1)

now we have gotten 2 rubbermaid containers (1 for later, when plants get taller). we painted 1 with that fusion flat white paint for plastic. and mounted the light to the top. (pictures 2 and 3). with the plants underneath off course

we plan on getting 6 CFL's and mounting 1 on each end and 2 on each side, any suggestions on mounting and wiring those?

any suggestions?

are those even sprouted yet? if not bro i doubt they're even gonna sprout up..You need to put those in nice dark place like in a closet or something until they sprout out from the soil then you put them under the lights

Ive read a couple posts/threads on here about that but that prolly just because i have nothing better to do..lol but yeah i mean it CAN sprout with light on it but most of the time it wont no matter how long you let it sit...I did that with my very first grow and just germ'd them, put them under the light for 1 1/2 weeks and NOTHING..then i put them in my closet in the dark to hide them from the p's cuz i though they found my grow area in my closet...the next morning..BAM..all of them sprouted up overnight

they just sprout faster when u dont have light on them cause they are looking for light.....

leave them there for a couple days n see what happens..exirement a little bit in place you put them because i put some in the closet some in a drawer and some in an enclosed bucket n some sprouted way faster then others..the ones in the bucket w/ a lid was the fastest, they sprouted in a day at the most so thats my new way of sprouting...

yeah they can sprount with or without light..but you do want to get them out of the clear cups because roots dont like light

well now my plants basicly got a bucket over them, the rubbermaid container, the lights jut not plugged in now
