Lightbulb My Shed...
Well... since we moved into this new house... i have a shed in my backyard that i think would be great for growing like 3 plants. There is a vent that goes straight to the outside in the corner of the shed, and i made a 3 ft wide box that encloses that corner. I was planning on putting flourescent lights in that box, and watering them by hand, they would be directly ventilated to the outside. However, i would like to know what to do about clones... or if there was a different way of telling the sex before the males start to pollinate.

P.S. How many, and what kind of flourescent bulbs would be needed, and i have heard that watering with a bluberry/water mix makes the weed bluberry flavored... idk if this is true... clarification would be great .

Peace Out,
Err0r

Mmmmk thanks, also... do these lights hook up directly to a wall jack, or is wiring needed? Also links to the product would be helpful .

sheds are not the perfect location for a grow since police can search them in most countries without a warrant! so rather look for a place in your basement or attic to grow

it is not just about how much lumens you get but about the light range really, 3000lums are nice but not worth a dime if in the wrong light spec!

those CFLs have to be cool white/ 6500K ones, 5000K ones are not good for anything really and 2700K ones are only suited for flowering. but flowering with CFLs isn't the way to go either really

Well... i dont think i would have to worry about the police searching it. They would have no reason to be suspicious . Thanx for all the help so far .

Peace,

Also... I will probably go with the cfls for veg, but what kind of readily available (buy at home depot, etc) light that plugs into an outlet would i use for flowering?, Im a No0b :P

Peace,
Err0r

normal household CFLs need a E27 socket, that is a normal standard socket. there are odd smaller once that go with E14 sockets and bigger ones that need a E40 socket but the one you buy at home depot will go with a E27
