Default are TWO 1000W HPS lights to much for my grow room of 12x7?

Hello, Im just starting to move inside and I've been setting up my growroom. I have two 1000w HPS lights and I was wondering if that would be to much light in a room thats 12'x7'. Or would one 1000w HPS be good enough. I want really good weed. Anyone? thanks

It would be fine as long as you can keep the temp in check.

the more light the better man, as long as you can keep the temperature down. I have a 400w in a space bigger than that and my temperature is good but not much higher and it would be too high.

hook up boath up under different plug. that way when you need or are ready for 2x1000 its there. space is aok for them if you can extract the heat ^. Grow in peace & best of luck.

Thanks everyone, So its ok to use both 1000W HPS in my room? I have a vent that is in the middle and Im only going to have a fan going when the lights are on. I hope that the heat wont get too high. What is a good temp when the lights are on? And how many plants do you think I could get in there. Im hoping around 30.

best thing to do if your not sure about the temps, is to to hang the lights and put then on an 18/6 cycle for a few days and see what the temps do, before you put your plants in there. I think about 60 to 75 degrees is ok lights on. not sure about how many plants you could have

right now im using 2 1000HPS lights on a 4x8 table with 32 plants (the entire room is about 10x12). eventually im going to have 4 1000HPS with the same amount of plants. so yes it definitely is possible, but like they say it all depends on how hot your room gets. mine is very well ventillated and ACed so its all good.

hey, bro, i have 6 1000 watt in a 12 x 14 room. it gets hot, but i have a 14 inch fan sucking out.. hehe

yeah, you could do way more with a room that big...

i have 2000 watts in a 3x7 room lights are vented, room has AC
