well first off, im doing a variation on the aeroponics setup seen here -> my first aeroponic design
in a large grow box built for 8 plants.

Now on to lighting:
for Veg i was gonna run 20-4 light till (My hopefully ladies) are about 2 and a 1/2 foot then switch to 12-12 light for budding..
how many cfls should i use for 8 plants during veg?
im thinking of getting a HID for budding but im not sure what to look for.
also is it possible to use cfl's for budding or is it a waste of time doing that?

what kinda dry weight would you kinda of expect for a setup of that size?
i wanna run it continuously with clones.
any help would be great..

Yes you can grow and flower with cfl's, it costs less and runs cooler. However imo it takes longer, really you should get a hid light. hps you can do both grow and flower, with that setup I would think a 400 to 600 watt would be good, 400 is cooler and can be vented with a smaller exhaust.

Yield is imposiible to estimate, strain, growing style environments are all huge factors. On your first grow shoot for 1/2 ounce a plant. If it ends up being more, bonus.

and how much would it bump ya power bill up by roughly? (quarterly if you know )

check out grow lights on ebay cheapest you can get is probalby there and power bill isnt substantial i dont know quarterly cuz i get my power bill monthly but i barely noticed any difference with the light maybe 10 bucks
