I grow organically. I make all my own compost. I use all those things, too.
One of my favorite supplements, is compost tea. I take a 5 gallon bucket, and hang a 4 way aquarium gang valve with tubes that barely reach the bottom of the bucket. add 1 1/2 gallons of good seasoned compost. Then, I add water to within 6 inches of the top of the bucket.
Add 2 tablespoons black strap molasses. I take an aquarium pump and attach a tube to the bucket, and bubble for 48 hours, and strain out the solids. Water immediately. Apply every 2-3 weeks. Eggshells milk and coffee grounds, etc. are all in the mix, as well as green and brown manures, so you get those benefits, too. You wouldn't believe the plants' reactions.

Oh how awesome is that?!!! I'm very very very new to growing and just as I treat my outdoor fruit/veg gardens, I'd like to be as organic as possible with my indoor "herb" gardens as well. Does this system work well for an indoor garden or does it overpower them?
