hey thanks guys

they are pretty big and they got some huge leaves on them

still tall and skinny but the stems and leaves are growing bigger every day.. i also have adopted a plant from a friends back yard he threw a seed in the ground not thinking anything of it and up grew a plant... it was looking pretty bad when it got here i think it was a lil drowned but i gave her some new dirt and she seems to be doing ok hopefully shell perk up a lil here soon. i will be taking new pics sometime this weekend and post them on mon. i do have a ? though what is the normal amount of time of vegging before they will start to flower? and also whoever i was talking to about topping i think its getting close to time so when i post pics i hope ya can look at them and tell me if its time to top or close to time or what

Hey everyone! me again -_- dont all look so sad! lol well i got a few more cfls over the weekend. the ladies seem to be doing good. getting big almost out of control lol. the fan leaves on these ladies are huge i had a little yellowing on the leaves but pretty sure it was to hot so added another fan, raised the lights.. and added some nutes and they seem to be going great now. Heres some pics tell me what you guys think! and the 1st pic is the one i adopted from a friend was dead when i got it lol. and u may be able to tell but i got 3 big ones and 3 smaller ones. but pretty damn close in size. I also have a couple pics of their parts dont know if its too early or what but if someone can tell let me know! ENJOY

I wanted to send a pic along with this text in a direct message to you but it won't let me attach pics there, so I'll do it here. See pic below. It shows the cut just 3 days after so you can see the emerging branches of the new growth and how close to the fan leaf it was.

I'll be happy to walk you through it. Yes, a node is where each set of leaves comes out. When you cut off the top, you want to have as sharp a knife as possible so you don't have to force the cut (she'll cut very easily). Get close (but not too close) to the new emerging growth just above the fan leaf of the 4th or 5th node. As I said, use a VERY sharp knife to cut the "main stalk" above the fan leaves. It should cut like butter if the knife (yes, some people use scissors) is sharp enough so DO NOT FORCE THE KNIFE. Let me know if you need further input

hey thanks jarhead! i actually read a really good faq and tried fiming and topping on 2 of my plants right before u posted :X so i hope i did it right. however i did fuck up lol... on the one i topped i accidentally cut off the fan leaf too :X how stupid i was trying to be SOO carefull but didnt realize the scissors were that long

. IS THIS GOING TO HURT MY PLANT

oh no i hope not. anyways i did fim the other plant read some stuff about it and figured id give it a try on one of my taller plants. i hope fiming is not bad and i hope i did it correctlly lol i guess we will only see in a few days keep your fingers crossed for me guys im nervous lol. thanks for the responses and keep em comming i look forward to you guys's input. Ill take new pics when my 2 poor "girls" recover lol. if they seem ok i may do the others, we will see

huh, i topped mine like crazy and bent them and now I have a female producing about 12 colas.

i'm a little late in this discussion but your first pictures, it looks like the girls are stretching. get the light closer to them. if you're outside, well, i guess let 'em stretch.

Looking good for a noob chick. They do look a bit strecthed but its no big deal. Get the lights as close as you can without burning them. Do you have a temp gauge? Im curious what your temp range is down there.
