Just a quick question,
is it important to keep the veg on your plant?
i dont mean comletly leavin it naked but takin off a certain amount of Leafage cant be too damaging can it?

you only want to pull off leaves that are dead or almost dead.....the leaves are what create the photosynthesis for th plant to grow....the more leaves you strip..the slower and less your plant will grow....think of it as being in a phone booth with money flying everywhere.....with 2 hands you will be able to get what you need...but with 10 hands you will be able to grab all the cash you want.......

i heared that damaged leaves steals plants streinght. but propobly im wrong..

o no, not damaged leaves, but dead leaves. sorry

thanks yeh i know that dead leaves shud be disposed of i was just saying cut a few leaves that are in the way cudnt be too harmfull

i use lst to open up my plants to get light in to the lower growth.....i use insulated copper wire to wrap around the main stalk and pull it down now exposing the under growth to all kinds of light ....i bend a loop into the wire and hook the plant..then bend the other end of wire to hook the pot....every 2-3 days i pull the top down a little more at a time untill i end up with a big bushy mess of leaves and brances and future colas....the insulated wire will not harm the plant....
