I THINK MY PLANTS GOT TO MUCH LIGHT I JUST CHECKED THEM & THE leaves were all shriveled up are the plants still salvagable. sorry about not having pics but i dont have a digital camera i took a couple lights out & moved them up & away. i have 4 26 watt cfls in my 10 gallon fish tank that is coated with reflectent & sealed off i have a 4inch desk fan in it for air circulation what am i doing wrong? please people of RIU unite to help me out. they are my only plants & i dont want to lose them,. what do i do

ANYONE ANYONE AT ALL PLEASE HELP ME ILL TAKE ANY ADVICE I CAN GET WHAT DO I DO TO SAVE MY PLANTS? WILL THEY MAKE IT IF THEY GOT TO MUCH LIGHT? THEY WERE PRETTY SHRIVELED. PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

yo prob had them to close to the plants and it dried them up....i couldnt really tell u witout pics.. |

They Looked Really Dried Up What Can I Do? Are They Junk Now Or Can I Still Grow Them?

try watering them..to see if they come back to life..but like i said..i cant really tell becasue of no pics..but yea..water them..and wait till tommorow to see if they revive..u do have a fan on them dont you?? |

yeah i have a fan on them a 6 inch desk fan. should i turn the lights off?

no u could keep them on..how close did u have them??..ur plants could have shriveled up becasue of lack of ventelation in the room also.. |

they were about an inch away but at the time i had 3 26 wat cfls 1 46 wat cfl & 1 50 watt cfl they were all about an inch to 2 inches away. the 26 watts were like 3 inches away so i took out the 2 big ones and put in one 26 watt so now i have 4 26 watt cfls all about 3 inches away. so should i just water them & let them be? see how they do by tommorrow? they looked pretty shriveled. like i dont know how bad super bad is but they looked bad but im a 1st time grower so maybe its not so bad. bvut they looked shriveledlike the leaves were pretty nice size & now they looked completely shriveled so what do you think?

you need an outake as well as an intake try opening up the aquarium thing to allow you to vent. It sounds like too much heat, not light. Was this your second batch of clones? |
