So after a fairly tragic beginner's start, 1 sprout from 10 seeds, I am wondering how I should go forward.

I have one strong sprout, but know that if it turns into a male then it'd be pretty much useless. I don't know too much about hermaphrodite plants, and get the sense that they really vary between types and plant conditions.

Thoughts:

I see that you can force a plant to hermaphrodite through stressing (messing with light, nutrients, water etc).

Therefore, if I don't want to risk a male only plant should I force it? Worse comes to worse I get a hermi female, which might make feminized seeds, or a hermi male which-- and this is the real question-- is worth more than just the male itself (thc wise).

I am thinking if I force a male to herm, would I be able to cut off all male parts and basically raise a tranny plant?


I'd really like to lower my risk of having a big green house plant from Holland (why is Holland so goddamn far, it takes like a month for their seeds to arrive!!) and try and make this one baby worth something

i'm sure someone has experience with hermaphrodites! if something like that could produce decently, then you'd never have to throw away males or worry about sexing.

hermi bud will still get you stoned just not as much and you have to pick out seeds, those hermi seeds will usually put out other hermi's or females with very few males. a true feminized seed is when you take a hermi pollen and inbreed it with a pure female.
