I moved your topic jamie into newbies central, Cut right from the soil and then trim the branches off, then take each branch cut off the buds and then trim accordingly,

Then grab a door screen put it on 2 milk crates and let it sit there till its fully dry, bag it up stick it in your fridge and your ready to smoke.

Of course there are many different ways to dry.

Don't throw away everything that you removed to get the bud, throw it in a bag, and throw it in the frezzer for a few weeks to dry out, then run out to a used clothing place, find a silk slip (women wear it under a dress), and find an old window frame without the glass (unless you want to make a frame)

Nail/staple the slip (as if you were making silk screen print) so it is nice and tight on the frame. (just one layer)

Find your self something flat and clean to put under it, and then take the leaf, and such from the frezzer and crumple it up on the screen and run your hand over it, over and over again. Do all the left overs this way.

You will notice under the screen on the clean area, fine dust. Use an ID or C.Card, or plactic hockey card to collect it into an area.

Take that dust, and put it in a baggie/lunch bag and put it to one conner of the bag (try to get it tight as possilble, don't try to hard), and then start to fold the bag around (to seal it inside).
What you want is a type of brick looking thing. Tape the bag after you folded it onto itself. Then take some news print, and fold it around the bag you got taped up. make sure you got at least two layers of paper around the bag, and then tape it, and then wet it good. This will keep the bag from melting and wreaking everything

Pre heat your oven at 350, and when it is ready, place the packet on a cookie sheet for 10 min.'s.
Make sure you got a rolling pin ready......... after the 10 min's, roll it hard for abite, and then unwrap..........

Wah-lah, you got home made hash

I realize this is way out of date, and you've probably figured out how to dry your buds by now, but I heard leaving the buds on the branch is the preferable method for drying, the buds dry more evenly this way.
