I know this has already been posted, but here is my version, hopefully it will help someone out. Cloning is MUCH easier than you prob think.
Walmart is your friend if you want to put it together quick. Pet section, you need one air pump ( I would recommend one of the larger ones with two out puts, save your receipt or get the more expensive brand) some 1/4 tubing, should be right beside it, and two small airstones. Next to the tupperware dept. Pick up a small shallow plastic container (~8" deep)with a lid, I like the clear plastic ones so I can watch what is going on, size depends on how many clones you are trying to do at a time. My container is prob ~3 gallons and measures ~12"x18" across the top. On your way out grab some small styrafoam cups. The trickiest part for me was cutting holes in the lid big enough for the cups to sit in without destroying the top, us some inginuity is all I can help with here. I made 8 cup holes for mine. The air stones go in the water, I had gaps on in the cup holes big enough for the 1/4 lines to run through (you could clean it up a little and give them there own holes). Then fill up with water until it touches the bottom of the cups. Poke holes in the cups and label them (I can put 2 clones per cup and still have near 100% success). Ph you water for better/faster results. It is really easy to work with, transplant when you get 1/4" roots. Any questions let me know.

some cloning questions that i never see answered :
- do you use 18/6 or 24/0 lighting schedule?
- do you use the same 400w MH or do you have CFLs for cloning?
- do you foliar feed or just use a dome, or both or none?
there is more to it than just the clone gel and the cuts, but nobody ever talks about it.

Clear is bad if you are rooting clones. Roots like darkness and the lights kills the roots. I would suggest light proofing your container somehow. Just my 2 cents
