whats up guys i searched for the best looking site that seemed to have many people in and i found this one. im starting to spout a few seeds and looking for some feed back, my set up right now i have about 4 seeds in a bag with a damp paper towl folded with the seeds inside and 2 bannana peels on each side of thoe folded paper towel.. the reason why i used the peels is because some one told me that if you do that it will germinate the seeds to be females because of the potasium or something.. i donno if its true but i figured it wouldnt hurt.. lmk what you think of that so far then ill tell you about my lights and all in a few posts. thanks guys

Welcome and the best of luck. I wouldn't count on the bannana peel trick either! Also, make sure to plant the seed shortly after the tap roots starts to develop... don't leave it in the paper towel too long.

thats what i was thinking... heres what i plan i doing to my plant step by step

once the seed sprouts im going to plant them in some real nice soil i got and im mixing diced fruit in the soil mix(dont worry i have the bug thing covered) il use sticky tape around the potter i plant on doing that threw the whole process even threw flowering as well as having fruit squeezed into juice and feeding that 2 ml every 2 days.. i plan on just letting it get about 12 inches and then start to flower it. im going for a huge cola if you kno what that is.. im not sure if thats the proper name for it but im trying to get a nice size bud.. for my lights and everything im growing in a little closet that i cleaned and put peice of white construction paper making sure that every inch of the spot is white. i have 3 flourecent lights (the ones that twist) .... more info in a few more posts.

did you so far look into the lighting issue? if not, go and shop for some CFLs, compact fluorescent lights/ energy saving bulbs first. they are perfect for vegging your plants. look into 6500K bulbs/cool white, they are heavy on the blue spectrum which is needed for vegging. keep them low, inch away from the tips, that will prevent stretching
for flowering big colas, you will need a decent powered HPS light, about 400W is what i go with.
you can flower with CFLs, but if someone is telling you that this will produce big buds, he is either a total noob or doesn't tell you the full truth about flowering with cfls, because this is not the way to save power since it would take twice as much compared to a HPS light.
