should i put my exhaust fans on when the lights are off?

"should" depends on circumstances... but in the spirit of your question, i leave my exhaust on 24/7 for air movement and exchange. my grow doesnt get too cool though... and thankfully, it doesnt get too hot anymore

its always good to have air circulating in your grow area, its helps keep o2 pockets from building up undernearth all those leaves...keeps co2 circulating...which your plant likes very much!!! the constant stimulation from the fans will also build up the strength of the stem.
