Completely new to growing and haven't got a single idea of where to start. I know of a couple of places that I can get seeds from but wouldn't know how to start even if I had them.

Can anybody just tell me what the things that I need to do to get started are? Is there an absolute beginners' thread somewhere?

I have a greenhouse and am capable of making things grow, in general. However know nothing about strains, compost, fertiliser, watering, seeding, temperature control etc.

Thanks TUL, that's the sort of thread that I was looking for but the title wasn't what I expected. Those are exactly the steps I'm interested in. Now, which type of foil, narrow, wide or Turkey?

just any foil you have, i think its like reynolds wrap, just some good foil to reflect light, its not so complicated

foil can cause hot spots go get some mylar from your local hardware store or paint your walls flat white.
