Default lighting questions/ seed questions/
a few questions for starting out.. i have

-10000°K HQI double ended metal halide (x2), an actinic blue compact fluorescent (x2) , and a 1 watt Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED lamps in a black anodized aluminum housing, with built in ventilating fans.
- timers, ph kits and lots of outlets

i am going to start grow about 4 plants in my huge (180 gallon) fish tank which is lined with foil. can i grow with this lighting? and what seeds (from nirvana) would be the easiest for a first time indoor grower?

those lights are great for veg (except led.. fuck led) but you need a lower colour temp for flow.... more orange less blue for flow

the blue end of the spectrum wont give as tight and compact of bud structure (but if your new to growing you wont know the difference so it shouldn't matter) but on the plus side the blue end of the spectrum (which your lights are) have been being used for decades and are more often then not preferred by the old timer growers. with an increase in thc production that usually makes up for the slightly(compared to hps)less dense buds.
Anyway the answer is yes you can grow with that. tinfoil though isn't a good reflective choice because it wrinkles and makes for hot spots and is only about 30% reflective to begin with. flat white is much better as a reflective choice for walls its much more efficient.
Ive grown both ak48 (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and aroura indica (ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) from nirvana and they are both phenomenal id say start with the AK48 just because its so easy it practically grows itself and there are so many phenos its a good plant to learn with. and both AK and AI will get you !BLASTED! in a hit or 2. I got um from doc chronics site no germination problems very few males id say an 80/20 female /male ratio from everything i've ever gotten from doc and all the fems I ordered through him were top fucking notch. but I love nirvanna you cant go wrong with them for the prices/quality alone. yeah and fuck LED like ^^ said. ps the nevilles haze fem in my gallery was grown with an mh ndx bulb that is the top 8'' of the plant and the nug weighed 10 grams the entire plant yielded 3.5 oz dry having been started on 12/12 from seed under nothing but metal halide

What lighting should I use for 2-4 plants that are autoflowering, meaning they skip the veg stage altogether?
