Should I be using something else than this ?

Im using Scotts Premium Topsoil but I think I should be using something else like a potting mix ?

And my plants are 13 days old and still have a small first set of leaves ?

your're fine with SPTS....just a guess, but lighting might have something to do with your slow growth rate.

Im using 2 CFL 13 Watt 2700K

get some better soil......

I'm using the same soil after three grows and getting 2/3 ozs per clone.
hows that fancy dirt doing for you?

Oh, when you said topp soil, I thought you were growing outdoors.
-I just re'read and saw your lighting watt post.
Your using the wrong dirt, what you can do is mix with sand and perlite and check PH levels weekly, buy plant food.
Personaly, I'd ditch it and get potting soil because of the nutes and really no need to check ph levels for awhile, since you don't need to feed.
