We are currently using 16 - 23 watt Soft White CFL's for Flowering. The Daylight CFL's give off the same part of the light spectrum as an MH Lamp would. The Soft White CFL's give off the same part of the light spectrum as an HPS Lamp would. Neither give it off at the same INTENSITY as the MH of HPS however, as long as you have the plant cover it will do.
