need to get those lights closer homeboy. Get those cfl's right on top of the plants. The heat isnt bad at all compared to an hid. I would suggest at least one bulb real close to each plant if you can do it. More when it flowers.

Hey i have a question you guys see how our plants are really bushy and others just grow really high? Will ours produce more or less yield because of the bushiness and when should we flower because ours don't get very tall?

Go and get an HPS.......I have the same closet and my hps gets to 90* with the closet closed....I leave it open during lights on and my temps are a steady 85. I'm also using co2.....

All 7 Lights are within 2 inches of the plants. I raised it for the purpose of taking pictures. When I have it regular, I can barely fit my face in to look.

As for the HID talk. Like I said, I cant accommodate the heat. I have an outside temp of 110+ for next 4 months. I can barely keep my house cool enough for me to live comfortably in let alone a light with 400w of scorching light beating on it

All plants (even the little one) are starting to develop alot of side shoots very rapidly. Is this any indication of them sexing soon or am I a long way out?

I also am implementing a Co2 system in next day or so. (need to figure out how to unload 6 liters of soda asap and I dont drink the stuff) I will be using the 2 liter bottle + rubber tubing + yeast + water method. Cheap easy and organic!

Keep us posted on how this works out for you, i've been interested in trying it myself.

I havent quite got to finishing off those 2 liters so Co2 is a no good temp. I have however, found a major glitch in this thread.....I have the addition skills of a dislexic pot head..... These plants were 2 weeks old when I posted this thread....they will be 3 weeks old tomorrow.
