I got a tool that tests the ph of the soil and was surprized to find my soil's ph at 7.9 in one plot and 7.0 in an other. Id like to get it down to like 6.0 but do i have to mixed in lime or peat moss or can i adjust the water to something?

yea if u use the right ph balanced water. if u only use tap water make sure u leave it out for at least 24hours so the chlorine evaporates, thats the only tip i can offer

A PH of 7.0 is fine in soil.

The next time you mix up your soil mix, include a SMALL handful of Granulated Dolomite Lime to the mix. This will stabilize your PH. The Granulated Dolomite Lime can be purchased at any nursery.
