Question 70 Watt HPS Vs. Natural Sunlight

I've been vegging 2 plants under a 70 watt HPS for 15 days in a 1.5 x 2 ft area. The sun is finally out and its a little warmer for once so i decided to put them out on the back porch for a few hours. I'm looking for opinions on whether to sun them when I get the chance or just keep them straight HPS. Im in new England, with mostly sunny skies, breezy and a temp of about 65, if thats of any help. Looking forward to your opinions, thanks.

don't move your plants all over the place, if your gunna grow them outside, then leave them outside, if your growing them indoors, leave them indoors....... you'll stress the plants out by moving them all over the place and them have really intense light sometimes (the sun) and hardly intense light others.......

i agree with orecal. dont move ur plants. if ur growin indoor stay indoor. if ur growin outdoor then keep em out door. insects is a big issue the light stree is a problem. i'd say 70 hps. ur light is good enough for 2sqf so go with that. jus my opinion.

Thumbs down

Thanks for the input. Figures I put it outside and when I bring it in I noticed a little bug running around it and when Id try to get it with some long tweezers I have, it kept on running and hiding behind branches. I finally bagged it after a minute of chasing it around. I dont suppose it was a spider mite considering it was slightly smaller than a ladybug (clearly visible to the eye) and was dark brownish.

Yeah I agree with these guys..I use to be stupid enough to move my plant around like that waisting my time back and forth and since I've put it under light indoors and not moving it around anymore I spotted the difference..Tomorrow I'm planning on buying some proper light, a pH meter and soil for my next grow and want to give my new plants much better attention this time round..I'm just learning out of curiosity and would like to enjoy my own creation for a change.. Also if your plant/s does not work out that well with your 1st grow but still make buds you can always make some hash of it and smoke it with some good joint and try again hey'..
PS: I've seen spider mite before on my plant when she use to be outside and so I've killed it and since my plant is indoors no more problems..so I think it could be it from what it sounds like but I could also be wrong.. F@#%! I'M STONED!!
