my plants havent grown in a week, and they wilt at night. should i start givin them nutes? ive got 3 floros for 2 plants 2700 lumens each. any help is much appreciated

what are your temps, I think you need more then the 3 floros... how old are they? what type of dirt you use?

Do your plants have drainage... What is the temperature... Do you have airflow... Is soil too solid and hard..How old?

the pots are about 8 inches by 8 inches. miracle grow moisture control soil. they are about 6 weeks old about 8 inches tall. the temp dropped this week to about 55, but im sure its warmer in the closet, probably 65ish.

If they are wilting it sounds like you are either over or under watering.


I would also look into a better light it will increase lumens and heat... your grow area is a bit cold. (oposit of miine - summers i hit 100-105 easy -- this time o year i hit 75-80 consistantly

Wilting or drooping ? they droop in the dark and pick up in the light....I'm not a fan of the MG pre nuted or moisture control....it's problematic. I use a good sterile soil, the brands vary depending where you live, but foxfarm ocean is good, Scotts..and many others. I mix mine 50 - 50% Pro - mix & soil...Don't but $1.99 soil...pay the $6.99 for the same size bag......Too much crap & wildlife in the cheap shit. Pic's would help........I know...not always possible. I'm in same boat. LUCK

Probably like Twisty said, its that dam MG soil. I totally stay away from all that is MG, rather get good quality mediums and nutes from a Hydroponic store. Hydroponics systems, gardening equipment, grow lights and plant nutrients at 4 Hydroponics.com by Growco Indoor Gardening Supply in Grand Rapids, Michigan will save you man. I have noticed that people that use MG products are all happy and giddy in the beginning of the grow and then "Ahhhhhhhh whats the matter with my plants?!!!!"

shit, i just transplanted it into more miraclegrow. i have a second one in a smaller plot of MG. COULD I TRANSPLANT THAT INTO THE BETTER STUFF? also, do male plants grow hairs on the stems?
