Default Ground or bucket?

I wanna do ground but I don't, so I think I am going to go with the bucket method. The thing is I want my plant to be as big as I would have grown it in the ground so my question's are what is better ground or bucket so if bucket how big of a bucket should I use, which will create the exact same growth as the ground?

Lightbulb Double Potting

I'm no pro, but if the bucket or pot is too small later on you can always "Double Pot"

double potting

use 10-20 gallon pots to get really big plants i have done both in ground and bucket.
the bigger the bucket the bigger the root system the bigger the plant. in theory but i have definately seen a difference with big pots vs little pots.

if you do plant in the ground make sure you ammend the soil. i've had plants yield
1/4 lb in the ground and not too far off from that if in really big pots.

If you use a 20gal its moot, how the hell do you move a 200 lb plant? 5 Gal buckets will grow 6ft plants easy, your just going to have to add nutrients to the soil as oppossed to digging a huge ass hole and having it chill in there with a well amended soil.

The movement is a key aspect to this, if your patch is resonably secure or resonably remote, just start digging.
