Questions from the newb
Hello all,
Firstly im new to this fourm and i apologize for the newbie questions, i've done my homework read the stickeys and watched some of the videos.
After planting your germinated seeds how often should they be watered? I know that in the vegitative stage there supposed to be watered daily, but i coulden't find any info on how to water them to get them to sprout to begin with. Also how long should it be before i see a sprout, and how long is long enough to chalk up a "no sprout" as a failure?
Edit-
Scots soil 60 %
Perilite 15
building sand 10
Organic fert 15
4 45 watt cfl's (and a sunroof)

you should not water everyday either during veg. When germinating just get a paper towel wet put seeds in it and fold the towel over them. then put them in a platic bag and in darkness. In 2 days you should see tap roots. in 2 weeks if nothing happens then dont coount on anything to happen. when you plant water the cup and wait till it dries to water it agian.

I agree with seedlessone I use to water mine everyday and the plants were not doing that great. I changed to a good watering and then wait for the dirt to dry, my plants responded very well to that method. Plants are use to dry spells and it gives you good root growth.
