I know it sounds stupid that I dont know that but what means the word trim?

When you clip leaves that are blocking undergrowth...basiclly.

It's not reccomended to do it very much, it does stunt your plant, and could possible stress it into a hermie if it's a female. If you do trim, be gentle, use clean sterilized scissors, and only cut the leaves that are blocking foliage under them.

A better method to use rather then having to trim is to LST them.

Then there's the slang usage, as in 'getting some trim'. Not a stupid question, especially if English isn't your language.

Many plants actually benefit from trimming, it can spur on an explosion of growth. You don't want to go crazy with it.
