Just got back from a weekend with the girlfied. I've been flowering for a week and a bit, looked at my plants and the all have bastard balls

I'll be moving out in a month or two so no point in starting a new grow. Really gutted at this point.

Anyway, plants are about a foot and a half, growing well and WERE looking sexy. is it worth continuing the grow at all? i know i cant smoke the leaves etc, but will it be worth bothering carrying on to get some butter perhaps?

I would keep the best one and save it for breeding later. Otherwise, burn the rest.

I guess that all depends on how much you have.

I wonder if it is at least possible to force hermaphrodite at this point. I think if you stress a plant out at a certain stage you can force a female to get some male properties....why not the other way around. I would think the plant still have the genetic coding of both sexy somewhere in it.

I would take this opportunity to do some experiments.

Theres nothing to look forward to now. Was hoping to share the crap out of the crop with my new housemates the day we moved in. Make cakes with the girfriend who was as excited as i was. waste of god damn time. not happy. not happy at all.

I feel your pain bro. I found out just the other day that one of my plants was male - shit sucks!

I still have two more to go...

It wasn't really a waste of time, think about it..you got some experience under your belt if you made it this far. You will do better on your next grow.

Remember..the most exciting things is having these babies sprout up and watching them flower. You will be at that first part in no time.

Hope I can help. Light cycles are the biggest stress on plants. Use 24/7 for awhile and then turn the lights off for 48. Then do some 12/12 for awhile. Then start the process over. This will bring the hermies out of the closet, so to speak.

if they have a good resin on fan leaves id keep em and hash or oil,butter,green dragon whatever rocks ure canoe....but u should collect all there pollen individually and label them 1,2,3,4,etc with ure stongest male titled and breed away even with some bagseed im thinkin of makin all the autoflowering strains ii can...lol

Only have time for a quick reply but thanks for the advice.

Have them on 48 hours darkness, will swap to 12/12 tomorrow, no resin on leaves as of yesterday, will be able to look in on them tomorrow and see how they're doing.

Which one would you consider better (for collecting pollen).. i have 2 plants 1 of which started very slowly and at first i had very small leaves and stunted growth. This one never really "complained" , could be left alone for a while and is now quite big and very bushy (with still small leaves).
The other grew big very very quickly but seemed susceptible to environment changes, i.e high temps, yellowing leaves, drinking lots of water, curling. Both at pretty much same stage now.

Which one would you consider better? Hardier or Quick but difficult.
