2 of my 3 plants have shown sure males signs. i picked about 10 balls of the 2 of em. i want to try to clone the males just to try my hand at cloning. but right now they are a little small. i need to give em a day or 2 more growth before i try to clone em. will they "infect" my other plant if it indeed is a fem, im not sure on its sex currently. as well i have picked all the balls of the males.

even if you've picked the 'balls', pollen powder may have spilled onto leaves, stems, etc. it's so fine and invisible that cleaning up just what you see is not enough. even though your possible female is not ready to be fertilized, the longer those males are around, the more adventitious pollen will be deposited in your grow area.

i would not worry about cloning. it's not hard as long as you follow a few basic rules. ditch the males if you want seedless bud.

i have made a good attempt at cloning. took 2 of the lowest branches from my plant. they were kinda small but im hoping it will be ok, the stems look fine but the leaves are small from not getting a ton of light, but i see lots of folks trim leaves to make them smaller. snipped em off, into water, trimmed first nodes, into rooting powder, into rockwool, into fiffy greenhouse, under 26 watt cfl. hope this works posting some pics and i was planin on leaving the light on 24/0 this is the way to go yeah?

looks proper. misting leaves helps when they're first put in rockwool, before they have any roots.

not true... if a bee can carry pollen a mile or so and wind can, i'm sure clothing and normal household ventilation can... best bet if you wanna try cloning males (which is good for getting practice because if you kill father/bastard, you havent lost much) then you want your females as far away as possible and in a semi-airtight area.. any air coming in should be filtered to keep the dude nut from hitting the sweet spot.... or should i explain birds and bees and mary j trees to you...
