well this it it my first grow .
never thought i would be growing but what can i say .
i started out by just planting a bag seed just to see what would happen.
now I'm 31 days in . when it popped up all i had was a 100w incandescent
and outside light . i soon changed that to a 100 cfl to stop it from stretching so much it did well but not as good as it is doing now with the 300w cfl

Three weeks? dude, I aint no expert but that thing definately does not look 3 weeks old. Get an HPS or something better on that thing

well like i said i stated out with just a cheep incandescent
and i now have a 300w cfl pic 4 and 5 are just two days apart the growth was stunted
do to not having good light plus its my first time growing .I'm planing on going with a
mh soon just need to get the money for it .

does it look like I'm doing things right?
i have two 400w cfls with 3900 lumens each on a 16/8 light program, in a grow box about 1 inch away from the plant. i also went out and bought some vigoro all purpose plant food with a 24-8-16 analysis ,along with some
supper thrive. i mixed it only half strength and watered it till it was good and wet that was a week ago . i also have a fan blowing on it wile the lights are on. oh ya i also have some nutri leaf 20-20-20 soluble fertilizer,have not used this yet . it was highly recommended buy the local plant shop for growing plant in the garden he he he . it only cost me 22$ for a 20# bag of the stuff.
if anything i can use it on the lawn.....

Looking good bro. Is there any reason you went with 16/8 opposed to 18/6? Be careful with those nutes, they don't need to much right now. I see in one pic you get a bit of nute burn at the tips. If you are over feeding, this is where it will start.

People knock tinfoil because it causes hot spots and will burn your plants. Since you are using CFL's I don't know if that will even be an issue. Those lights shouldn't get that hot. But be careful though..if you can, paint the inside white or get some white construction paper and tape to the insides. Or even better get some mylar if you can.

hi and welcome to RIU. I think your plant is looking good. kinda of a slow start but its picking up fine. is that your only plant? if it is you may get pissed if it goes male but do not fret, it looks female to me in my experience and my reading shorter bushier plants tend to indicate female, it looks like my fem did. when it was that small. anyway good luck hope to see you around more. maybe get a combo temp/RH gauge they are less than 10 bucks in wallmart, and for sure as above stated keep check on water ph.

i now have 4-300w cfls with 3900 lumen's each ,or 900 total watts at 15600 lumen's for on plant. I'm starting two more high grade seeds that i germinated along with some pepper plants. I'm not Sher what strain they are. all i know it was some top of the line smoke. "from around here". really skunky tight packed and one hell of a high.

this is what the plant and soon to be new plants came from. 1oz and only thee seeds .
just hope they are all girls and not boys good weed is hard to find when you dont know to many people to get it from .
