Due to an old hippie being busted two cities over from me, my father has decided not to continue with our outdoor growing plans. However, I'm not giving up so easily.
While I'm not going to attempt to grow in my backyard, I'm going to try and set up an indoor grow box. I've seen the PC Grow Box ( here:
PC Grow Box; Complete System for Growing 1-3 Plants in a Computer Case ), and the idea intrigues me. While I don't have the money to cough up for their product, I think I'll be able to use it as a blueprint. Since money is tight, I can buy one or two components at a time and build it bit by bit. I'm not all that good with wiring and such, but I don't think it'll be too hard.
I'm sure there are many threads 'round here that give good instructions on how to build grow boxes if it turns out my PC-tower ambition comes to nothing. I'm not aiming for a high yield, I'd be happy with an ounce if it came down to it.
The actual building of the box will probably take me all summer. At the moment any and all money I can get my hands on is going toward a trip to Baltimore I'm taking in August (it's going to be the best trip of my life. Something I've been waiting more than 10 years for ... ) ... but still, I'm going to give it a good go.
Any suggestions? Warnings? Seed recs for growing in small spaces? From what I can tell, you can control the size of the plants, but some work better in small spaces than others.
Cheers!
