Default Seedlings......when to water??????

Quick question......I have been watering my seedlings every 2-3 days(waiting for water meter to show still), however I mist the plant and moisten the topsoil with a sprayer once a day or so....is this correct? When I watered today, I know the soil was dry at least 1 1/2" down. I know I want to almost let them dry out before watering to increase the root growth, but does it hurt to mist? Also they look good, so I'm thinking I'm doing right, let me know if not.

misting is fine. this is especially helpful if you're having a hard time keeping up humidity.
