Hey so these are the closet babies I have been cultivating for a little over a month. They have been getting 24hrs of light since they broke though the soil and they are looking pretty good considering I am not doing everything correctly according to some members here. I am always looking for advice and I am wondering how long (to wait) or how big the plants need to get for me to sex them, get rid of the males, and start the budding process with 12/12.

your plants are looking pretty good, sex usually shows in the 2 weeks of flowering you can turn to 12/12 when ever you want but the longer you veg them the bigger yield you will gets also dont over do it on vegging them good luck with the grow

Are there like 5 plants in that white pot up front 2nd photo?

no 4 plants, I know the rule of thumb is one plant per pot but I had too many seeds germinate and I didnt want any to die.

What kind of time periods are we talking about for veging them? So its been about a month, so how long do I need to wait to get the best possible yeald?

I'd say a foot is something to shoot for, before going into flower. Those plants need more light, they are way stretched. According to how old they are, if they have had plenty of light, they should be small and bushy..some wheres around 8 or 9 inches..maybe 10.

yeah 1 foot is a good height to shoot for when flowerin. and as the grnman said.. MORE LIGHT. with all those plants you need many more. get some y adapters and and at least like 6 more bulbs. then get more. get the idea? ive got 4 plants about the same age as yours id say. and im running 8 cfls, and 2 tubes on them. and i need MORE. workin on getting more. thats the thing about cfls, they require a bit more upkeep.
