I was wondering which of the 2 lighting systems, based off of your experience, has better results during the vegetative stage. Also, is it better to keep the lights on for 24 hours or 18/6 during veg state? I have heard both do work and 18/6 is more natural but is there a difference in the long run come time to begin flowering? Thanks my friends .

u need a lot of cfls to do the work of an hps, w.e the wattage may be,
hid over flourescent anyday, unless limitations require flourescent, no reason to use it
the bets way to do it:
for veg, get your reg hps lamp and have a mh converter bulb or vice versa and use mh for veg, gives out more blues,
for flowering give the hps bulb, more reds
but if ya dont want a double action, id go hps b4 flourescents anyday
