First Grow

It's not letting me open the attachment. But I wait until I've defoliated and let it grow back so you have a more bushy plant with lots of room to grow those flowers

yeah I can see them. I would let them get about 2ft tall before you flower depends on your grow room though. After the 4th nod start cutting back the bigger fan leaves in a staircase pattern all the way up the plant. if you let them grow back it will be twice as many nodes and more space for flowers in the end. what kind of lights do you use? how many?

I'd let them veg for at least 30 days, if not 45 or 60. At 60 you'll get some big plants. 30 isn't worth my time or money. 45 is a nice size, not too big or small.

Another way to decide is to consider they're going to double or triple in size when you put them into flower, so flower them when they're about 1/2 of the size you can work with.

Fan leaves grow back when you cut them off? Why does cutting off fan leaves "Create more nodes?"Where do people come up with this stuff? If you are referring to topping it has absolutely nothing to do with fan leaves.

Yeah cutting fan leaves off doesn't create more nodes. I know this bc I cut off several fan leaves and there are no more nodes than there were to begin with. Don't cut any leaves off.

What lights are you using exactly? Like brand, etc. It seems a lot of ppl here state their light specs differently. How far away are the lights from the plants? They look pretty stretchy but not bad. In my entirely unprofessional opinion you should wait until the stem looks like it could hold significantly more weight than it does now... It's soooo skinny. Depending how much bigger it gets, just based on looks alone, I'd say about a month till I'd feel comfortable flowering. Idk anything about organic nutes, sorry!

And yes what the guy w the hairy naked avatar said re: size. Our big female has been in flower about two weeks and has grown four inches, I shit thee not lol. 21" tall today actually. Anyway good luck!

Don't ever cut any fan leaves 0_0, too small to clone (are you sure it's a female anyways?), and you should have your cfl's no more than 3-4 inches from your plants =)

im using 2 60 watt CFL lights.
When you say "60 watt" do you mean actual 60 watts, or are those equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent? You have to watch for that, they advertise the equivalent in big numbers and the ACTUAL wattage in smaller numbers.

Completely ignore the cutting back fan leaves mess, what is said is not true at all. Fan leaves do NOT grow back and it does NOT effect nodes. What I have seen for my own eyes is more little leaves pop out of the bud which just adds to trimming.
