I just germinated some new seeds. 2 of the 8 completely lost the shell of the seed and just looked like a sprout. I put it in the soil like that. Is this going to be a problem?

they should be ok,if you plant root down and the head of the seedlings are barely under the soil,just put a very light spinkling of soil over the top,and spray the top of the soil to keep it moist,,,,that happened to me once when i germinated for too long,so i did that and it worked,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,peace

oh and if there heads dont come through the soil within a few days just help um along abit by moving the soil out the way just to expose there heads to the light,,spray um several times a day so they dont dry out,or you could do that now rather than wait a few days,,,,,,,,,

definatly,but like i said,you can speed things up by just leaving there heads above the soil now,(so dont cover the heads with soil)just dont let um dry out and make sure the root is nicely in the soil,and they should start growing like normal,,,,

Ok i just did it. The root is coverd up and the head is poking through. Thanks so much. I think I had too much soil on them. When I went back in there to check i was surprised how much soil I had on them. Thanks again. This is my first time doing this all by myself. I owe you one

i always plant my beans like this?
Ive never seen any problem with it being done this way other than it cuts days off of waiting to see a couple leaves
