when do u guys think i should flower my plant i was thinking about a week i should veg for then flower or could i flower earlier and have good results? i'm using 42 watt cfl's.

I was also wondering is it good to have some of the red spectrum in the veging stage.

I have been wondering what the time span is for CFL plants from planting until harvest. I prefer the "Sativa - cerebral" instead of the "Indica - blah" feeling.
I have heard that if you harvest the buds at an earlier time (when they are smaller), you'll get more THC (Sativa type high), and less TCB (Indica type high). THC converts to TCB? (T/F ?) after the buds become larger. How large? Too many ?'s ?

Sorry about the delay. I have heard so much about growing it. Veg. for 1-3 mos., then flower another 1-3 mos., harvest while the trichomes are still clear for that clear high, and harvest after they become cloudy for that "muggy" high. Me? I'm just gonna try it all and see. If the short period clear trichomes work best... I did grow some a long time ago...went from 24hrs 1st week, 22 2nd, and dropped light accordinglywhile increasing the darkness. Used 2 shop lights with 4 bulbs each standing on the ends and white constuction paper (board) around the sides. No light from the top. Grew bushy. But whatever works ...works !

The amount of Indica or Sativa in a plant depends on the seed.

Thanks Bongman, I was basically referring to the THC/TCB content and if early flower harvest affected that content. Can't remember where I read it but I will find it tomorrow.

I do remember that plant had thin leaves and it was one-hit-creeper. Perked you up and paranoided(?) you too. That says Sativa, Right? Also had white hairs and green flowers. Had to put lights on the sides because it was getting too tall. Had a 8-10 inch bud on top that was wonderfully smooth one-hit. My friends were amazed ! Not as much as I was.

I'm not familiar with anything called TBC. Maybe you are thinking of CBD(Cannabidiol). THC and CBD are the two most abundant cannabinoids in marijuana, but the actual effects of CBD are not fully determined. It interacts with the THC to change the properties of the high, whether it be to increase or decrease it.

CBD in large amounts is supposed to be a creeper, but lasts a long time. The high is described as a strong buzz or the body feels heavy and relaxed. You could associate this with the Indica high...perhaps Indica strains have a higher concentration of CBD. After all, CBD can make up as much as 95% of cannabinoid concentration.
