More plants than light... how much light should i get?

a lot.. and why are so many people planting multiple seedlings in pots? they aren't clones are they? What are you going to do when all their roots tangle and you find out you have a couple males???

O yeah it's a little over a week in progress.

I was told just to cut them out... If the plants are around 12" tall at the start of flowering I thought the roots would have enough room to grow

shit.. yeah you can cut them out. But I mean your eventually going to have to transplant and shit.. Maybe I'm just dumb and don't know what i'm talking about.. But I am definitely not a fan of the multiple plants in 1 pot. how many watts are those cfls they look like some big papas 125w?

you should start your seedlings of in there own pots... roots grow quick.. would be best if you dont cut roots will cause to much stress for your plants... plus each plant has it's own needs... one might grow bigger than the others and need more water.. other will get waterlogged... you will need more light. but i think for nest week or so you should be ok... i would repot the seeds in there own pots before you have to mess with the roots... just my view... someone else will be along soon to help shead some light...

Yup they are... farmtek 125w daylight CFL's with 5500 lumens each. I usually only do 1 per pot but it was cheaper this way... I think I was shooting for "Sea Of Green" Style.

True... What size pot should I put them in? Also could I leave them in that pot or would I have to transfer them again? How much more light should I put over them?

i would put them i in each of the pots you have. i start in 4cm pots and build up from there... i repotted mine 6 times not done mine any harm. to me repotting is the key. you normaly have enough nutes for 3/4 weeks in the soil after you pot up... you should only need to feed them in flower... i potted up every 2 weeks... look at mine now...

I see... I don't have a lot of money.... so I'm going to grow them in 7" pots and transfer them into those 3 gallon pots. I'll get a 1000w MH system and veg. them under that... After this I'm trying to do a DWC hydro set up that would let me harvest every 12 to 14 weeks. How many times do you usually harvest in a 6 month period? Good job by the way on that set up... they look nice and fat
