I know you can harvest a plant multiple times a year, but in the vid i saw and the book i read both guys cut it off at the very base to harvest it, wouldnt that kill the plant? or does it regen from there?

thats how u harvest if i'm not mistaken. multiple harvests come from producing clones from mothers and getting a steady harvest every few weeks or so. u have to cut it down so that u can let all the water dry out.

Cannabis is an annual plant that grows to maturity and dies. By the time the buds are fully mature the fan leaves are pretty well dead anway... Mothers that never go into flower will live longer ,it seems to be flowering that signals the end of the process for the plants..

Solid Info. in this forum. Also you can revert a plant from flower to veg but at the high risk of creating a hermaphrodite. Regeneration from a stalk with no nodes or growth head is impossible.
