Which in your case means you could use 590 ppm for nutes instead of your tap water.

I am going for the distilled water, I just replaced the dead seedlings with seeds in the system I figure they will crack and grow

thats one cool haircut. and nate, ive used both hydro and soil. if this is your first grow, i would go with soil. i use fox farm ocean forest potting soil because it already has good nutrients and micorhizzae inoculated. with that you will achieve the same or better yield than your standard hydro setup and its a lot easier! also the taste is better when cured properly. but whatever you decide, i wish you the best!

Thanks man!!! actually THX men Its my second grow, my first was huge and with soil about 4 years ago. I am still a pretty fresh fish when it comes to all this. Last time I didn't dry my crop the right way, and it smoked harsh. I am hoping this time to do it all right

900 ppm for seedling is out of hand man even 600 is way way to much, ppm for seedlings should be no more then 250 ppm and i would even keep it lower at like 100 or 150, thats why u got dead plants

BTW I have been out of town so I never got to thank you all for the advice, 7 months later another grow, again with Hydro, in my DIY box which I have made a few improvements to ( this is the last grow in this box, its functional but not stealth as it looks way out of place having a plastic cabinet in my closet rather then the garage ) I learned from a lot of my mistakes from the last grow, so I anticipate the yield and such being better. I cracked 8 seeds for my small box, i will flower at 10 inches or so and lollipop and LST so I can fill the box with buds without getting too tall
