I have like 40k lumen worth of CFL, 8 plants. Like I said I am no expert though, but what I was thinking was dry and time to water was about a day short. You might try giving the plants a day or two off.

im also new to growing, but i did start to notice a leaf or two turning brown, i checked them everyday so i caught it early, all i did was back off the light to about 6 inches, and i am using a shitty heat lamp for a snake.when i backed em off they did fine. you said yours were about 2 feet away , so im guessing you got wayyyy to much watt, or heat on them i would recommened doing the common sense thing and backing down your power lights a little bit. id think just like feeding and water too much, you could have too much light. also i watered my plant, (2) i have them in 16 quarts of dirt. which is 2 medium sized potting soil bags from the store. and i watered them once a day, but only 1 cup. (a tall drinking glass) i really dont possibly see how 1 drinking glass could be too much, but also gives them enough. and if anything i was told, by a gardner(not of pot, of other decrotive flowers) that underwater a little bit is okay. becuz it will make your plants really stretch their roots to find water, therefore making them have a stronger base. i watered them like this for a week straight, then waited till an inch or top soil was dry, then watered again.

but remember, im a newbie to, so take my information however you want it. hope i could help

ye i did the exact same thing but with a 400W MH lamp. i took it out straight away, hopefully it survives. i need to get a thermometer asap to monitor temp and humidy levels. i think i kept the lamp too close. ye it did the taco leaft curl or whatever lol, cant describe it. anyone know what i can do to speed its recovery, i watered it too cool it down and keeping it away from the mh lamp for a while.

really underestimated this grow light, burnt part of my closet door cos i put it too close, will take care in future.

the NPK levels are fine just make sure your not using to much this early on. Def too much heat coming off the HPS, and if your only a few weeks in you dont need a HPS yet. Much better to go with CFL till flowering.

Heat may be an issue, yes we all agree...but that isn't what is making your leaves droop. LemonHerb is right, water less often and your plants should look better. As for the light...more light is better! If you can control your temps you can use that 400w, if you can't then fluroros it is. I have 2 plants under 2 weeks old under my 400w and they are fine, I use the 400 every grow...from seed. Put as much light on them as you can while keeping temps under 90 and you'll be gravy

Droopy leaves typically over watered (even more so if you water every day. More on that in a bit)

Droopy leaves, under watered.

How big are the containers? (the coffee cup/ peat pots will need water more often) If in tiny containers, xplant now. Get into a nice sized pot for the plant. The peat pots and cups are just to sprout and get them going a bit (one or 2 nodes) At that point you basically know the plant is viable (unless stretched, but even still then still)

If they are in a bigger pot, let 'em sit for a few days. Check on them. Watch the leaves. If they start perking up, you are over watered. Droop more: under watered (unlikely form your info) If they pretty much stay the same, something else is wrong.

Browning leaves may or may not be a prob. PICS???? The lower leaves will die off over time. (even some higher ones / inner ones) A few dead leaves aren't something to get overly alarmed about.

If you are using store bought potting soil, it probably has 3+ months worth of time released nutes (people here seem to hate the time released nutes. It does make it tougher to control) Read the label.

Temp and water pH, watch these. Even read the pH of the water draining out. Your water might be killer, but the soil can be out of wack, so you would need to adjust the water (or do a flush possibly. but once the plant bounces back and has hung for a spell. Don't over stress an already stressed plant)
Humidity can also factor in. Keep it in the middle (others can correct these numbers) 30-50% for vegging. (a bit lower for flowering)

How closed in is the room? Does it get fresh air and the CO2 (found naturally in air) from time to time? Is the room ventilated?
