highest yield under 400w hps/ mh

i would do 6 - 9 girls under these lights in a 1 x 1 x 2m space
as for yeild it depends on the grower + strain + other factors
i have 8 under a 400 atm, check it out in my siggy and maybe get a glimpse at ur future

i got 12 oz of my first crop under a 400

8 plants 2 gallon bags . . .small cramped area single cola

i done 3 cheese in soil under 400w with 9oz yield last year,like the other guy said there is no real answer to the question,i suppose more plants = less veg time though.i would use 600w,400w is ok but imho its all about the lights and the method of growing,if you are only using 400w lights then i would consider a scrog grow with 4 or 5 plants you will make better use of the light.003.jpg this pic is 5 plants under 1 600w hps the were vegged for just over 4 weeks

in a growers year half or even another cycle is a whole crop . . . . .time is money, work smart not hard

some nice healthy plants ya got there, is that a DR tent?.. with a 400 i agree, top and train. you can get nice bud with a 400 but the light doesn't penetrate too far, gotta keep it cool and close. ive seen friends run 400's in 4x4 tents get the same yield from 10 as they did from 4. for what thats worth

thanks theyre coming along nicely, its a kms tent from ebay 1.2 x 1.2 x2.0m.(cheap £60) i got 2 northern lights,2 ak47 and 1 amnesia in there the ak and amnesia are big,i cant wait to see the yield.yes deffinataly scrog all the way from now on,600w aircooled shade sat 5inches from the girls during veg and lots of selective pruning.
