A Timer Question...........
Hi All
I've got a Plug and Grow timer and it seems to be losing time, about 30 minutes'ish a day, I'm not expecting it to keep exact time but If I don't adjust it every few days it would be more than a hour out by the end of the week and me having to adjust it is silly cause thats what a timer is meant to do for you !!!!!!!!
I used to have a 4 way extention plugged into the wall and have the timer plugged into the 4 way extention but the timer was losing a silly amount of time a day so I changed it so the timer is plugged into the wall socket and the 4 way extention is plugged into the timer. I also have the Plug and Grow timer plugged into a RCD circuit breaker in the wall socket and I was wondering if the RCD circuit breaker could be making the timer lose time.
Thanks

I think you have a bad timer. Return it or get a new one.

Seems like its just a bad or broken timer. I would go get a new one (what are they, like 3$) and see if that fixes it before losing much energy on contemplating circuit breakers etc.
-
yeah I would just buy a new/better timer..

buy a decent heavy duty timer....they are worth the few extra bucks

.......And I thought Plug and Grow timers were meant to be good and up to the job !!!

Im not a timer expert but I would have expected all timers to work well. You might have just had some bad luck.

Is it worth trying it plugged directly into the wall socket rather than plugged into the RCD plug first before I buy a new one ???
