It's been 8 days since I took my first harvest from my first plant. (see here)After drying I ended up netting 43g! Now those colas are curing in a big jar. She tastes better every day that's for sure. I've been putting my new vaporizers to good use, yanno breaking them in right, lol. (If you're curious I got a Vapir One 5.0 which is great but kinda loud when in use. Then I also got a PUFFit portable vaporizer for discreet use on the go.)
I didn't have any scissors big enough to cut her down at the base of her stalk, so I opted to just cut her at the branches from the main stalk. I was wanting to hang the whole plant to dry it, but wasn't possible this time around. I strung up more lines in my drying box and hopefully they'll dry over 4-7 days.
Overall I'm quite impressed with the results of my newbie grow! I was only expecting 14g at best when I first started this project. The PC box setup was perfect for learning my first time around, im my opinion. I watered her by hand and spent time with her daily for the most part. She survived a physical move since I moved to a new place back in December. I will take what I learned this time around and apply it to the next cycle.
I'm looking forward to the next grow already. While the PC box served me well enough, I'm going to turn it into my seedling & veg box, and setup a new cabinet for flowering. I might try my hand with setting up a perpetual grow/harvest this time around, that's the goal at least. I have one last feminized Blue Mystic to use for round two. I also have the freebie, but I figure I'll stick with the strain I did well enough with the first time around. I will probably do a new seed order in the coming months so I'll be ready for round 3 when it comes up. I'm going to give Super Lemon Haze a whirl after this next grow.
