I was wondering... how many grams can I expect from a plant, such as chronic or AK47... using a 1000w HID lamp for veg and budding...

Well, if you do a good job on it, i have seen people get at least, an ounce off of their plants, even 3 sometimes... So... Lots of Grams...

Dont know for sure, i wont know for another... 3 months?

Impossible question to answer. You did you a good job if you get one gram per watt. So you do the math with what kinda light you are using.

In short term? Yeah you are the shit is you get one gram per watt. Experienced growers do it all the time. Ive seen some even get like 1.25 grams per watt. Dont expect to achieve this task your first go around though. Good luck~

I would be happy with 500 grams per plant...

Ok you are not gonna get 500g from one plant. One gram per watt is a goal. Its not something that you just do; it takes experience.

I assumed since I'm using 1000w and experienced grows can get 1000gs from it then I can get at least 500gs from it....

damn that sucks for me.... i was hoping to get atleast 600 grams off a single plant and im running a 430watt HPS. I guess it would depend more so on strains right? Is it true that sativa's normally yeild more?

This one gram per watt is not done off one plant though. Well at least in the case of using a 1000w. 500 grams can be done with one plant using a 1000w, but once agian that is something to brag about. If you are using a 1000w I suggest growing more than one plant.
