how about 1000w 36 plants in a 6x6 area in 12" pots so the pots are touching each other...roughly what would be the yield from this grow op?

Like I said this is an impossible question to answer. There are to many factors to look at. Aim for the best and just see what happens. Then improve on your mistakes and watch the yeild weight rise.

But I know you want some kinda idea of something...i read in HT about a guy growing in a 3X3 with a 1000w. He had 30 plants growing SOG style and yield a pound a half.

BTW a 6X6m area is to big.

Can you tell me what SOG style is? and a pound and a half from 30 plants... doesent sound correct...unless he grew low yeilding strains... ive seen sites saying indoor strains... grow up to 700g's a plant..

actually it's 6x6 feet, I'm using 1 foot pots... so 6 pots x 6 pots is 36 total plants

You are killing me LOL...most of the time on those sites it says for example 500gr/sqm which is 500 grams per sqaure meter. I didnt mean to put the m there and yes 6X6ft is to big for a 1000w. Just because you are growing more plants doesnt mean you are gonna get more bud. SOG is sea of grean. Search it and you will find tons of info. And I looked at the article and he was getting a little under 2 pounds in a 3X3 area which is fucking amazing. think about it, its on the cover of High Times....i think you are setting you goals a little to high.

all i wanna know is...for a begginer how much bud should I expect from my first harvest of 36 plants of chronic that I'm growing...that's all....an estimate would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hardly!!! If, (and i use that term Very Sternly..) they were all to be female, and you know what you are doing, and you grow them right and flower them well, you can expect maybe an ounce At LEAST from each plant, so just average of 1 ounce per plant, that is 36 ounces 36/16 = 2.25lbs But that is if every plant produces an ounce, if they produce less... Obviously less, if more... Duh, we get the picture...
