hey every one im new to growing and i was just wondering, i know there is not a for sure way of really telling but how much yield can i expect from some seed just from a good sack with about 160 watts of fluoro's and 104 wats of CFL's?? btw the CFL's = 400 watts in regular bulbs :?

the lights can affect the yield alot the more lumens on the plant the better try adding up all the lumens outta all the lights u got.but it mostly depends on the strain and the genetics of the plant

well im gonna try 5 plants and i added up the lumens and i thinks there is 19400 lumens all together-- 7000 in CFL's and 12400 in Fluoro's so about how much would you say i can get out of this?? or is there just no way of telling?

whats more important than the lumens is what spectrum cfls you have you should get one set of daylight cfls or cool white for flowering and i forgot what the other ones were called but anyways it is generally better to have a better light spectrum than more lumens

and you should check how many lumens per foot you are getting ... for ideal results you should have atleast 2k lumens per foot in vegatative state and 7k lumens in flowering i use 2 400w hps HIDs for a 4x2 feet area with 8 plants so thats like over 11000lumens per foot and per plant and like 100k lumens al together and my babies look really healthy

how much do u usually get from that setup cause i got 1 1000w hps for a 2x4 area (8 plants) and i was wondering the same thing about my yeild ?
