im about 2 weeks in my first grow and im gettin a timer soon so i dont have to worry about being home. and im on a 14/10 hour cycle im wonderin if u can just switch it over to 18/6 or if u have to gradually increase it.

yes longer days will trigger new growth i personally clone 24 hours or 9-14 days veg for a total of 33 days @ 18 hours and flower between 52-65 days. when i switch to 12 12 i simply move the plant during the early morning start up.

i went out and bought all new lights cuz my old one wasnt that good. now i got compact flouro 90 watts 2 of em and the metal light domes

What is on 14/10 and where did that come from?

yea i bought timers. i thought i could go without them cuz im home alot but about a week in i realized i despertly needed them. 14/10= 14 hours on and 10 hours off. is that a bad cycle?

you didn't buy those timers, you stole them.

i was working the hot dog shift and i saw the WHOLE thing.

You are better off on at LEAST 16/8. 14 is a little low and won't perform as well. I suggest using the 16/8 or the 18/6 on your first grow. Switch to 12/12 after your plant is aroun d 12-16 inches. Good luck!
