What are the signs of needing nutrients

    Default What are the signs of needing nutrients

    I have been growing in FFOF. I keep hearing at week four or so its time to slowly add nutrients. I also hear to watch your plant for the signs of needing nutes. What are those signs? So far my plants is green and lush. But I did notice some slight brown specs on a few leaves about freckle size here and there.

    Begin feeding with 1/4 strength nutrients. No more than 1/4 strength. Feed, water, water. Do not overwater - the #1 cause of unintended plant death. The nutrients can enhance plant growth and not just medicate it.

    well the first signs are the plant getting lighter and lighter green and the bottom leaves turning yellow. but, sometimes u get an ugly leaf here and there. dont freak out and overdose the plant with "love"

    And, the brown/ rust colored spots you mentioned could also be a sign of a def.
