Nutes lights and other

okay so im setting up a small hydro set
its going to be a simple fish tank reservoir with styrofoam with an air rock bubble
i was just wondering what should be some instructions on the nutrients
also would it be better to keep this hydro set running in natural sunlight or should i just get a small light set

I'd use light because then you can manipulate how they grow more

thats what i was thinking but my friend says that plants just grow better in natural sunlight but i was thinking in side we can have a more optimal environment

the only thing that i need to figure out is what the ph balance should be and how much measurements of nutrients i would put in the water

Vinager = PH Down
Baking Soda = PH up

and it all depends on how your plants react to them. and using light you can use diffrent spectrums (spelling?) for growing vs just sun light

wow idk if i want to put vinegar and baking soda in my plants water... are you sure that wont effect the crop?

if high times put it in their video then it must work but if you realy want to make sure buy PH Testing kit andhave 1 soil plant to see how it will react to it but High Times was growing in soil so i dk but it might not but I am not 100%

High Times Recomended

Soil - 6.2 - 7.0 Ph
Hydro - 5.8 - 6.8 Ph

The safest way to adjust the PH level is to stop the water if you can and test the PH level and add a bit of Vinaget or baking soda but not much because it might make the PH go up or down to much and stur it in and let it sit for a bit if you have the time then test the PH level again and slowly adjust to the needed PH level

PS - sorry if that doesn't make alot of sence
