Just moved my plant into my closet(fucking room mates) anyways, the temp WAS around 74-76 degree, now it has skyrocketed in the closet, to about 85-90 degrees! It's rediculous, I am wondering if it is okay to put a fan on the ground of the closet, facing up. And then close the closet. I did that for the time being, and I open the closet every few hours. Will the fan help now that I put it in? Or since it is closed will it not make a difference just blowing around hot air...

you're just moving around red hot air. you need fresh air to do any good, do not put a box fan flat on the floor. it will overheat and possibly catch on fire. if anything prop it up at a 20 degree angle so air can get under it. but you must leave the door partially open for fresh air to get in there.

It is definitly not a box fan, I can assure you that. I just checked dropped a few degrees, maybe 84 or 83, still wayy to hot for my likings. I have no way of getting fresh air into that closet! Except to open the closet for an hour, but Im leaving for four days yikes

Yes the fan will help move the air around and cool things off. put another one in and see what happens. but your still gonna want to open the door every few hours
